Thank You '08 & Welcome '09!!!

And, yes.... we have arrived to the inevitable end of another year, where some just celebrate the new beginning while the others just pray and hope that the next day will be better than yesterday.

For me, it has been sort-of a year which can be described as not-so-happening, I did learn a lot though. The same old lessons that life and people around me remind me of and yet, I don't really do much to change. So, this time I really hope I do something, as in less talk and more action...something which is almost impossible yet so much possible!

Anyway, I just wanna thank everyone, family, friends and strangers (yes, strangers are not so strange u knw!) for making 2008 a wonderful year! And here's wishing everyone a bright New Year!!!!

Take Care & chao!

I am irritated.
I know that I should do something about it.
But, I am just lazy, super lazy.
I know that I am going to regret if I don't do anything,I already am regretting.
But, why must people just conclude about things that only I would know how I feel about.
It's annoying.
I can just go on ranting, but choose to end this here.

Vaaranam Aayiram

I have always been a Gautham Menon fan and I was definitely looking forward for this movie to hit the screens. After reading a few reviews with mixed opinions, I went to the cinema with no expectations today morning. Before I point out the plusses and minus's of this movie (in my opinion), let me just talk a little about the movie generally.
As most of you all would have known already, Surya's donning two roles, as a father and the son. Simran comes as the mother and Sameera Reddy and Divya Spandana also form an important part of the movie.

The story is simply about how a father influences a guy's life, in the son's point of view.
Naturally, one starts comparing this with Cheran's Thavamai Thavamirunthu (TT) as both these movies deal with the same theme. But, it must be noted that Cheran and Gautham are two different directors and they treat and direct their movies differently.
Unlike TT, Vaaranam Aayiram (VA) focuses on the son and his life and how the father makes an impact in his life. Dialogues by the father like, "Pursuit what your heart wants" and "Whatever happens, life must go on" are nice to hear, watch and is definitely motivating and cements the fact that Krishnan is such a positive father. But, unfortunately, that's the most the father does. He encourages Suriya (the son) to do what his heart desires and motivates him, helps him when he needs him the most but something was just not there. The part where he advices Suriya (the son) to focus his energy in a positive way and when he asks him why he has build his muscles for (trying to say that he should fight back) were good. Still,I am not sure what, but I just felt that they could have exploited their relationship a little more, may be.

I must say that the movie was NOT bad, it was quite good, but in parts. As in, I enjoyed the movie in parts. It was nice to see a collection of different stages of a man's life. I loved Suriya's younger days, in his teens on how he retalliates when a senior beats him up and after he loses his love, the way he mourns and calls his dad and informs him what had happened. These were certain scenes/parts that moved me a little. Also, once Suriya turns to drugs to continue living. All these were potrayed in a very realistic manner.
Yet, something was lacking, missing in the movie. I am not sure what but it could have been more intensed may be.
Anyway, lets look into the positives/plusses in this movie:
  1. Surya: He has always performed well post-Nandha and once again, he is simply amazing in this movie. Right from the old father,Krishnan, the 17-year-old Suriya (the son), the lover-boy Suriya, the drug-addict Suriya and the army-man Suriya....he is simply awesome. He has really put in so much of effort not only on his expressions and body language but also his physique. He seriously looks like a 17-year-old during that period of the movie and with a six-pack, he looks so much more convincing as Major Suriya. On the whole, Surya has basically done a fantastic job.
  2. Songs/Music: Harris Jeyaraj scores yet again. I have written enough about the songs, in one of my previous posts but let me tell you once again, Harris rocks!!! The background score is also good. Songs have been picturised well and my pick of the lot would be Mundhinam,Yethi Yethi and Ava Enna.
Yes, after watching the movie, I had only 2 reasons to recommend it to others.

Now, let's move on to the minus points.

  1. Star casts: I have no complaints on Surya but just wish Gautham had chosen someone else than Sameera and Divya. Simran did a splendid job as the mother but the other two, were just off the mark. Sameera looked sweet in certain angles but didn't quite play the role fittingly. Divya too, failed to do much in a role that offered quite some opportunity to shine. She looked dull and plain and was just there doing nothing more than delivering her dialogues just as that, mere dialogues.
  2. Theme potrayal: The father-son relationship theme is a noble one but I just felt that it was not exploited deeply. The emotions and sentiments were there, but they were not engaging and gripping enough. As I mentioned before, the struggle of Krishnan (father) was not shown much and everything associated with the father as in his love story and all were shown in a very short amount of time. But, I must say that watching how the son is influenced by the father in each and everything he does was good. I was only moved a few times through out the movie and one of the scenes which were pretty touching was the beginning of the movie.
People tend to compare this movie with Gautham's previous ones but we must realise that this deals with a different theme. VA is a nice movie, but got draggy in the second half and a lot of elements were not convincing enough. Overall, it's a must for Surya fans and thats much about it.

That's all for now, chao!

Not So Awesome...

Yes, as I mentioned in my previous post, here I am with a post, once again on my views regarding some of the movies I watched recently.

Dhaam Dhoom: This one is a major DISSAPOINTMENT. Songs as usual, are awesomely awesome...simply because they're by Harris Jeyaraj. But, why the movie has not lived up to the expectations??? Here's a few reasons...First of all, the whole movie lacks logic...simple logic!!!
I know that one cannot expect logic in movies, esp. Tamil ones, but this one simply has no logic at all. A guy who's being chased by the ever-inevitable Russian cops, actually walks around the city with his lawyer, who actually falls in love with him!!!.And have I mentioned that they even have a sort-of-a-duet in between???
Okay, leave that. I am still amazed how the director came up with the idea of having Kangana Ranaut play the role of a village-belle! But, the only positive thing about this movie other than the music is the theme taken up by the director. Anyway, in short, this movie is not worth anyone's time/money.

Jayam Kondaan: This movie was a surprise to me. Frankly, I wasn't planning to watch this movie. But, after watching a few scenes featuring Vivek, I rent the DVD. Starring Vinay (Unnale Unnale fame) and Bhavana this movie was fun to watch. Again, this movie deals with a different, rare theme one can find in Tamil movies, of the relationship between a guy and his step-sister. Vinay is the hero and Lekha Washington,a newcomer plays the step-sister. Songs are okay, and my favourites would be Sutri Varum Bhoomi and Naan Varaindhu Vaitha. This one is a family entertainer and I would recommend it to everyone.Bhavana has dubbed for herself, and what can I say...her voice suits her and her Tamil is not bad! Overall, this is a feel-good film.

Sakkarakatti: Let me be frank here. The only reason I watched this movie was for AR Rahman's songs. And, clearly, that was the only exciting thing about the movie. Even that, the makers of this movie have managed to pull down a few notches by over-the-top graphics for the songs with not-so-nice picturisations. I was eagerly waiting to watch 'Marudhaani', my favourite song in the album, and I just skipped it. It was that dissapointing. One thing that dissapoints not only me, I believe many Tamil movie fans would agree is that, ARR's songs are generally not so good visually as much as it deserves to be. The last time ARR's songs got justice was in Sivaji. Anyway, in short, Sakkarakatti is a movie with nothing much but crap. Shanthanu (Bhagyaraj's son) has done okay for a debut but other than him, the other main star casts are simply crap, to say the least. As the poster on the left suggests, it's nothing but a musical treat by AR Rahman. Please skip this one.

That's all for now. Chao!

Okay, first of all, I hv changed the theme back to the old one.
As Jam said, I guess it looks better this way.
Anyway, belated Deepavali Wishes to everyone, I know, a very late one.

Went for holidays for a week and when I got back, had classes and got a little busy.
So, I m back and hopefully I update more often.

Anyway, I watched quite a number of movies and hoping to make a post with short views on them.

That's all for now, I guess.

New Theme!!!

I just felt like changing the look of the blog, so hunted for a simple and clean theme and I found this one!!
Okay, this is also mainly black like my previous one,but I kinda like it very much.Simplicity.
BTW, for those looking for a new theme/skin, check out BlogSkins. This site has loads of skins...various types even for other blog types like wordpress, if I am not mistaken.
Anyway, hv been trying to get that links bar aligned properly, but I can't. I guess I will leave it just like that.

Oh,watched Dhaam Dhoom btw. And as I have mentioned above there, its a BIG dissapointment.

That's all for now.

Harris Jeyaraj does it again!!!

Yes, as much as I am a fan of AR Rahman...I simply love the man's one time assistant, Harris Jeyaraj as well.

I simply have no words to describe his awesomeness. He's probably one of the few consistent music directors of Tamil Cinema, apart from AR Rahman of course.
So, here I am spreading my thoughts on HJ's latest album, Vaaranam Aayiram. Vaaranam Aayiram is Gautham Menon's latest venture starring Surya. This is their second film together after the hugely successful Kaakha Kaakha (luv this movie :D).

Anyway, here's the list of the songs HJ has composed for the movie.
  • Adiyae Kolluthae
  • Anal Malae
  • Mundhinam
  • Oh! Shanti Shanti
  • Yethi Yethi
  • Ava Enna
  • Nenjukkul Peithidum
All the songs are totally superb. After the wonderful 'Dhaam Dhoom' songs, HJ has done it again. This time, even better!!! The only notable difference would be, the absence of Bombay Jeyashree. Wonder why she has not sung any song for this one.

Anyway, my pick of the lot would be:
  • Mundhinam : Sung by Naresh Iyer and newbie Prashantini, this sung is just simply sweet. The lyrics are also extremely beautiful.
  • Nenjukkul Peithidum : This one is by Hariharan. It's really sad that I am just realizing what a wonderful singer he is and what an amazing voice he has. I seriously love his songs, and hearing this song has only made it awesomely better.
  • Anal Malae : I must admit that I have something for slow-mo songs by HJ, especially the ones sung by Bombay Jeyashree. Anyway, this song is by Sudha Ragunathan who in my opinion, sounds almost like Bombay Jeyashree. This song, is of course another beauty.
For all those music people, and of course those who love Tamil Songs, please go and get these songs. They are a MUST!!

Am Back!!!

Yay!!! My exams are finally over...actually, got over last Tuesday. I was just kinda tired and had a really nice weekend full of nothing. I did nothing. And that's exactly what I like to do :D .

By the way, right after my exams, a few of my friends and I went to Mid Valley and literally spent our day chit-chatting + Starbucks + a movie. And seriously,
Starbucks'
Chocolate Chip Frappuccino ROX!!!

And, 'Black Water' which is currently running in cinemas, is quite good. Oh, I must say that the subtitle when they showed the movie's title was 'Hitam Buaya'!!! I wonder since when, air became buaya!!! LOL! On second thought, may be they were referring to the croc in the movie, but still!
Initially, the movie seemed like a documentary, but after the first 1/2 an hour or so it got pretty interesting. It's a typical 'crocodile' movie, where they have this big Croc gobbling up people and how this group which gets stuck in the middle try to save their lives. But, overall it was pretty 'entertaining' I would say...hehe...exciting too...I know, that these are not the words one would normally associate with these kind of croc movies, but I must say that I enjoyed the show. :D
By the way, the movie is supposed to be based on a true story.

Anyway, from now onwards, I will try to post as frequently as possible...and I actually have a few things to post about too. Watched some nice movies on tv/dvd, heard some new songs...so, yup...some posts on them will be up very soon.

That's all for now... ch@o!

Kuruvi: Crappy

It's been a long time since I posted here...saying again just like in the previous post. Anyway, I am quite busy these days with college and all. Will try my best to post more frequently.
Now, let's move to 'Kuruvi'.
Kuruvi (bird) is the latest movie of Vijay & Trisha directed by 'Dhool'/'Ghilli' Dharani. I must say that I expected a lot from Mr.Dharani after giving two entertaining films. But, after reading a number of reviews and going after the word-of-mouth, I just trashed the idea of watching the movie. Anyway, after failing to get hold of 'Subramaniapuram', had no other choice than 'Kuruvi'.
But, honestly the movie was a total crap. I won't be surprised if it was Vijay's normal movies, but this was from the man who came up with the fun-filled Dhool and racy-entertainer Ghilli,Dharani. That, shocked me!!!
The movie was not fun/entertaining and to say the least, a waste of time/money. Unlike Dharani's previous movies which focused on the plot, this one was like a Vijay-mania. Not that its not the case with all Vijay movies, but this one was a bit too much. Vijay was literally flying here and there and he's full of punch-dialogues. Like most people, I like Vijay in the comedy scenes. He's really good at that. But, in this movie, his expressions were overboard. Trisha looked pretty but had nothing much to do other than dancing and going crazy over Vijay.
The only thing that I liked was the songs. My favourites are 'Pallanadhu' for its fast beats and 'Thean Thean' for the melodious music.Overall, the movie lacked a good screenplay and Dharani was clearly not in his elements during it's making.

Anyway, that's all for now. ch@o!

Of AR Rahman & GV Prakash

I am sure all of you'll know who AR Rahman is (atleast all the Indians,rite)...
He's a world reknown music director/singer. He has not only done Tamil albums but also Hindi,English and a whole lotta others featuring different languages. He's one of my favourite music director and I simply love all of his songs!!!

His latest album in Tamil is 'Sakkarakatti', an upcoming movie starring Bhagyaraj's son (very sorry, I really can't recall his name). He has composed six songs and all of them are totally awesome. I am just gonna list a couple of my favorites from the album here,
  • Marudhaani - Sung by Madhushree and Rahman himself, this song is modern yet beautiful. Cuz, a lotta songs these days are modern/cool but can't be described as beautiful. This one is an exception.
  • Naan Eppodhu - Sung by Reena Bharadwaj, this one is more modernly classical. I am not a music graduate and I have no formal education of music, the literal music atleast. So, I just describe based on my 'feel' about the song. So, ya it's more of a modern classical, if you get what I mean.
  • Chinnamma - This song's by Benny Dayal and Chinmayi (Kannathil Muthamittal fame). I would describe this one as a more peppy and fun song.
Now, let's move to ARR's nephew, GV Prakash. GV Prakash is the new 'kid' in the block, literally. He's just 22 and started his career as a music director a few years back with his debut movie being the critically acclaimed 'Veyil'. Veyil was truly amazing. Especially, Urughuthey and Veyilodu Vilaiyadi. It showed that it's all in the genes... :) GVP's latest is 'Kuselan', the Super Star starrer that is due for release anytime soon. It definitely took a while for me to gain some liking towards the songs in this album but they are good. My pick of the lot:
  • Sollamma - This one's by Hariharan and Sujatha. Hariharan's voice is just amazing. It's so smooth and sweet to the ears!!! This song reminds me of Uruguthey although it's kinda more into the happier mood. But, its lyrics are kinda nice.
These songs are constantly being played every time I switch on my computer/mp3 player. Try listening to these and you might just like them! :D

It has been quite a while since I posted in here. It's all due to my computer!!!

It got spoiled for the 3rd time in 2 weeks!!!! I couldn't do my asssignments and projects at home and had to do everything in the computer lab at Uni.

Anyway, I am glad that I have got it back now....just today!!! Yay!!!
Nothing much to update actually. Having loads of exams and assignments lately.

That's all for now I guess. ch@o!

A Filmi Week!!!

Yes, as the title suggests...The past week was filled with tons of movies for me!!! Not that I don't watch movies regularly (almost everyday!), but this week in particular was filled with a lot of movies. Last Saturday, I went for Dasavatharam. And then, on Thursday, I watched Sindhu Bhairavi, one movie I was waiting for to watch. Then, on Friday I watched the first 2 CDs of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Finished the rest today afternoon! This is probably the third time I am watching the movie. KKHH is simply amazing!!! Yesterday, I watched Fanaa in the afternoon and Onbathu Roobai Nottu in the evening. Today afternoon, I watched Pallikoodam and right now, Chennai 600028 is going on,on SunTV. Honestly, I am not complaining. Each of them were totally awesome, in different ways/perspectives of course! Now, a little bit on each of the movies.

*Dasavatharam - enough said in my previous post I believe :)
*Sindhu Bhairavi - After watching it, I totally understand why Suhasini got the National Award for the movie. Once again, a different, realistic story from K.Balachander. Songs were beautiful!
*Kuch Kuch Hota Hai - Do I need to say anything at all? Loved the movie totally. Shahrukh,Kajol and Rani did an amazing job. And the songs, are still one of my faves!!!
*Fanaa - I can't believe I missed this movie. The word is beautiful. Honestly, Kajol was pretty!!! Aamir Khan, oh my....he was simply awesome!!! Songs were beautiful both to my eyes and ears.I am currently hooked to three of the songs; Chand Sifarish,Chanda Chamke and Mere Haath Mein!!! It's kinda old, was out in 2006, but who cares!!! hehe...
*Onbathu Roobai Nottu - Never thought I would be discussing Sathyaraj in this blog, but he was really good in the old man's role. He should go for this kind of movies and not the commercial flicks with young girls dancing around him!
*Pallikoodam - Thankar Bachan's movie. Another realistic and different story from him which I enjoyed! It was a very soft and beautiful story based on a school and the biggest plus point was the characterisations. Narain, Sneha, Seeman and Thankar Bachan played the main characters. Nothing big in terms of commercial value, but it was touching and emotional.
*Chennai 600028 - A fun and exciting movie with newcomers. Premji Amaran (an upcoming comedian & music director) was super funny and songs were awesome!!! An amazing movie that can be watched with friends and family. A movie based on cricket and friendship.

That's all for now, I guess. Ch@o!

Dasavatharam : It's all about Kamal!

As you can see, I am gonna talk about Dasavatharam, one of the most awaited movies in the past couple of years due to the hype of one man's 10 avatars in a movie!!! Yes, I went for the movie yesterday and seriously, people flooded the theatres. I went to Mid Valley with Jam, and when it was our turn to get the tickets there were only 45 seats left!!! And we ended up getting the front seats, 2nd row from the screen!!!! Anyway, initially I wasn't that satisfied...obviously...but, I must say I was kinda glued to the movie that my seating wasn't bothering me at all.
To be honest, I went into the cinema without much expectations...I have heard quite a lot and read quite a number of reviews and mostly people were dissapointed and a lot of comments that there was not story at all and all. But, to my suprise I thought that the movie was quite nice, quite good I would say. The movie is based on the Chaos Theory. The Chaos Theory says that everything is inter-related and that everything happens for a reason. So, the movie starts of with a short (really short, you will miss it if you are not alert) introduction of all the 10 characters that Kamal plays in the movie.
The story starts off from the 12th century, where a staunch Vaishnavite (they pray to Lord Narayana,or something like that), Rangarajan Nambi (Kamal) is forced by the king to sort of pray to Lord Siva. The king wants his people to convert to Saivism (which is also a part of Hinduism). So, Rangarajan Nambi opposes to this and gets drowned in the sea together with the Narayana statue. Right after that, his wife (Asin)also dies. After this, we are taken to this big lab in US where a scientist is working on a bio-virus or something like that.
Govind (Kamal) is this scientist who cares about the people more than money and the effort he has put in finding the vial which can destroy the world. After he learns that his boss is actually trying to sell the vial to the terrorists, Govind steals the vial. Now, the terrorist, Fletcher (Kamal) together with a translator (Mallika Sherawat) go after Govind from US to India to get the vial.
The story goes on, where Govind together with Aandal (Asin) try to keep the vial off the terrorist's hands. In short, the story is a prove of the Chaos Theory. Each and every event that takes place in the movie is related to each other and how they affect the characters involved are shown quite remarkably. The mere effort/thought that Kamal has put in to create a story based on the chaos theory is laudable and he succeeds in that. Of course, he has incorporated several themes that have been quite alien to Tamil Cinema such as the existence of God,the darker side of science (bio-weapons), discriminations based on castes, saving the environment/mother-earth and so.But,all these themes are handled with much care and are given commercial treatment that they are not so obvious. I guess Kamal didn't want the movie to be too serious or too hard for the vast majority of audience (Tamils, whom a lot of them are illiterate) to comprehend and thus has compromised to the usual commercial values like comedy. Though, if you ask me, a movie with such serious themes would have been a much better watch for me if it was given a more serious treatment.
The make-up and graphics in the movie should have been handed much better. One can immediately identify the man behind each of the characters as the make-up doesn't gel well or so. Talking about graphics, I do not know where all the money spent really went to. Because, they all brag about spending a fortune to make it look good but seriously, the tsunami part and certain parts in the movie where graphics are needed are just bad.
On performance, need I say anything at all??? Kamal once again proves that he's super talented. All the 10 roles have different characterisations and Kamal has done enough justice to each of them. But, when you think of it...10 characters are just more than needed to the story. Some characters are simply made up to round up the roles to 10,I guess!!! But, I must say that each of the character has some how a role in the story's proceedings. Although some roles' length are pretty short, they have their own importance. So, I guess we can accept that! On Asin, she only has one thing to be happy about in this movie, in my opinion that is! Although she gets two roles, none of them are as impactful as Kamal's 10 and seriously, she needs to check on her dubbing. Cuz, honestly, most of the time she's just screaming and her expressions are repetitive and irritating to say the least. Mallika Sherawat is there to do what she does best, I don't think I need to explain that.
Now, lets look at the music department. You know, some songs don't get to you until after you watch the movie.Frankly, I wasn't really interested in the songs when it was released and I hadn't heard any of it properly. But, after watching the movie I am hooked to two of the songs;Kallai Mattum Kandal and Mukundha Mukundha are simply amazing. The songs were by Himesh Rishemiya and background score by Devi Sri Prasad. The background score was apt most of the time but nothing really extraordinary.
I would still say that the movie wasn't up to the hype that was surrounding it but it's definitely something different. So, if you are an ardent fan of Kamal Hassan or if you simply love movies with an intellectual touch or with some difference, out of the usual commercial flicks, this is a must-watch!!!

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

Yes,!!!! I watched Santhosh Subramaniam for the second time on Sunday...this time I watched it properly;completely. Anyway, it was awesome. Songs, comedy, Jeyam Ravi & Prakashraj. They rocked!!! Ok, if anyone's wondering why I didn't mention Harini ...here's why...Honestly, she was or should I say the character that she played was kinda irritating at times. But, I guess she was okay in general. By the way, I am supposed to be revising calculus now as I will be having a quiz tommorow, but here I am surfing the net!!! I will just stop there...Oh, watched Oprah a while ago...and they were talking about 'freegans'/'freeganism'!!! Okay, seriously...these people are really something! Freegans are people who get free stuff from the trash, meaning they find good stuff by salvaging the trash bins and all....including FOOD!!! How's that!!!!???!!! Cool eh!?!
But, I don't think you can get any GOOD stuff from the trash bins here,as in, in Malaysia...rite...
Anyway, thats all for now. ch@o!

Alright. Let me just be clear that this post is gonna be one heck of a crappy post. Seriously.
A lot of things are happening right now. To be frank, it has always been like this. People around me ( some of them) are so bothered about certain things in life when in reality they don't need to. These things that they dread about are supposed to be things I need to be bothered about; issues that I need to resolve.yes...I know it, I know that there are just so many things I need to think and take action about but somehow, I just don't bother. Actually, I am quite unsure whether am I not bothered or am I just too lazy to take action. And when people express their resentment, I just don't know if I should laugh or just scream at them (of course, being me...I just smile and let it be) Jam, U just might understand what I am talking about. And this is not the end of it ya. There's just so much more I need to blurt out but I am just not gonna do it as its not good to trash people or anything for that matter (in general) in cyberworld, actually its not right at all to trash...haiz...

College.LRT.Rapid Buses.Waking up at 7.00am. These are the words that describe my week. Honestly, the second week of my first year degree, first sem was not like what I expected it to be!!! Full of unexpected information blurted out by the lecturers. Haiz....it's tiring u knw.
Plus, the increase in the petrol price. Not that it affects me much, but actually it will soon. Cuz, I hv been hearing some news about an increase in rapid's bus fare!!! Speaking of Rapid Buses... seriously, are they blind or do they live in a world of their own??? Cuz, the drivers don't move even when there's a long que waiting for them. It's irritating, especially when it's after 5pm.
Plus, the week was more tainted with the absence of INTERNET. Yes, my modem got spoiled and I had to wait till today to get something which makes it works. Actually, part of the modem was spoiled, so we got a new one to fix it. Anyway, glad that I can surf the web now :)
Anyway, gotta go to bed now. ch@o

Woohkay! The first week of college after a one month break is definitely a little tiring.Probably because of the travelling and all. So far, we have had intros of the respective subjects for this sem and a slight peek into the initial chapters. Anyway, college is okay minus the long breaks in between each class. It's very very boring and I miss my foundation mates a lot!!! Seriously!!!! But, of course, I have met some wonderful people and they are really good people to say the least ;).
Oh, and the drop-out rate of my course is certainly terrifying!!! Almost 50% of the students from the previous intake dropped the course after going through the first sem. First SEM!!!!!!!!!
And another thing, got to watch "Arai En 305-il Kadavul" the other day. It was a nice movie. Certainly not one which will be listed under the typical, commercial flicks but it was based on a different theme. Simply put, a story of two useless youngsters whose room mate is THE ALMIGHTY!!! Sounds interesting?? It defintely is!!! Minus the songs, the movie is watchable and enjoyable in parts.
That's all for now. Chao!

Sunday, May 25, 2008

I can't believe that my one month holiday is going to be over in another 12 hours!!! Yes, I am gonna start college tomorrow!!! The past two days were filled with a lot of news!!! I can't actually tell what they are exactly.Let's just say that I got some unexpected news about some things that I really really wanted to know. It used to be a very serious thing but I just forgot about it as it didn't really matter because the issue got resolved somehow. But, now I got to know what exactly happened and all and it's a little shocking. But, I guess its alright!
Oh yes....I got my results!!! WOOHOOO....I am happy!!! extremely happy!!!! (referring to the sem results not my overall grade points, sigh!) My fault...Repeated the same mistakes but I m glad I managed well this time! Thanks to THE ALMIGHTY!!! :D
That's all for now! Chao!

I am tired. Not physically. Just that I am tired of sitting at home doing practically nothing but watching TV and surfing the net. Not that it's bad...honestly, I love this but its getting a little too monotonous. I miss my college mates. Its pretty irritating to know that I am the only one from my class who will be in the same campus when I go back next week. All the others are shifting to the other campus!!! ARGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I will definitely miss all of them!!! It has been only a year I hv known them, but all of them are such nice people. Right from my class-rep, Jun On till the ever-quite John....all of us were something like a big, noisy and playful you know, class...much like how it was like at school...Not to mention Ni2 and Pavi (Fuyoh!!!),Kavitra ka and Yuvhen...we did a lot of things together at college...had loads of fun...will definitely miss all these wonderful people...They were really good friends....They won't be reading this I'm sure...but, just wanna wish all of them all the very best!!!
Dear TD16, thank you for all those good moments...it was fun...even the silly arguments that some us had...the time we spent bbq-ing those chicken wings (of course, there was another story behind it which only the fuyoh people knw of)...the times we spent arguing for marks....and also those funny moments recording the 'unique wedding' for our PS presentation...Thanks for everything...It was a wonderful year!!! Good Luck and All the Best Peeps!!!

200 Pounds Beauty

As I am a movie lover...the language doesn't really matter. Whatever the language may be, as long as the story or the movie is good, I will watch it. Now, this time... I have never heard of this movie before, 200 Pounds Beauty...I was changing the channels...from 212 (Sun Music) to 702 (Hallmark) back to 212 and I accidentaly got to 122 (Kirana). Astro Kirana showcases popular Asian movies I think but I never really bothered checking it out. Now, I am officially an avid fan of Astro Kirana.

200 Pounds Beauty is a Korean Movie starring Kim Ah-Jung and Ju Jin-Mo. As you can see, the title itselfs reveals that it's a story on the struggle of a overweight woman. It was a different story in the sense that the overweight girl, Hanna opts for plastic surgery rather than the usual diet & exercise regime to all beautified. The interesting part is how she gets to undergo the plastic surgery and she practically changes her whole body. She even gets to choose the kind of eyes and nose that she wants! All this fuss to get all pretty and glamourous is to get her crush, Sang Jun love her. Sang Jun, is the manager or something like that and Hanna is in love with him.Sang Jun treats her well but he's not in love with her because you-know-why. So, the rest of the story is about whether Hanna gets to win Sang-Jun's heart or not.
The aspect I loved in this movie is the screenplay after Hanna becomes Jenny ( the slim and pretty Hanna). Jenny practically suffers hiding her past and it shows how desperate she wants to bury her past as the overweight Hanna. They also have some funny elements on plastic surgery and the mentality of men who don't mind women getting plastic surgery to make them prettier but just not their girl friend. Overall, the movie was enjoyable and pretty much showcased the hardship an overweight girl goes through. And right after that, I watched Oprah talking about drastic measures taken by parents to help their overweight child...what a coincidence!!!! Can anyone believe that a 12 year-old got a gastric by-pass to lose weight!!!???? I just think that it's not the right way to solve a problem...
Anyway, chao!

Why???!!!

I just don't get it. Seriously. Sometimes, I just feel like the world has just turned into something that doesn't recognise genuineness, honest needs and fairness. I am confused right now. I would probably delete this post in a couple of days time but I am still gonna continue typing. Afterall, everyone deserves to rant at times, right! I feel that some of our needs are being destroyed or are being taken away for various unacceptable reasons. And to get back those "needs", we are expected to do certain things which are not supposed to be asked from us. It irritates me, angers me to come face to face to the fact that life is, most of the time, unfair. There's a reason behind everything. It could be true, but what's the point if you know that the reason is not at all logical??? I mean, why can't the world just give people what they need. I am not saying that everyone should get what they want just like that. But, what about people who have worked hard, what about people who deserve some things but are denied of it for reasons unknown to them.Reasons unknown here means reasons that should not be questioned. Isn't that inhuman.
Pardon me for posting such a crappy thing, you might not see this post tommorrow actually.

Current favs...

I am talking about music,songs..
First of all, I love MUSIC. love listening to SONGS.
I listen to Tamil,English and Hindi songs but right now, am kinda outdated in the English and Hindi music industry. For tamil, I am a die-hard fan of tamil cinema songs. love AR Rahman, Harris Jeyaraj, Yuvan and the latest GV Prakash.
Anyway, I just felt like listing my current favourites...they are not in any particular order though.

*Pallanadhu Pallanadhu from Kuruvi.
Vidyasagar has churned out just the right song one needs to listen to, to get some energy...lift up their backs and start dancing. seriously. Oh, fyi... he sang the song too!

*Adada Adadaa from Santhosh Subramaniam.
OMG...this song is just amazing. It's peppy and really, really nice. Siddarth (from the movie, Boys) is the singer, and really...he has a really cute voice! BTW, the video of the song is cute too.

*Venmegham Ponnagi from Yaaradi Nee Mohini.
Not sure who sang this one but its really haunting. It's kind of a sad song but worth every bit of it. love it.

*Saghiyae from Dhaam Dhoom.
Okay, this one is by my favourite singer, Bombay Jeyashree and Krish. If I am not mistaken, Krish is the one who sang the big-time hit, "June Ponal" from Unnalae Unnalae. On Jeyashree, her voice is simply beautiful...I still remember one of my friends saying that her voice sounds rough, but seriously I find it unique and pretty much haunting as well!

*Kannadhasan Kaaraikudi from Anjathey.
Okay, I don't really like ghaana songs. but really like this one for its lyrics (it's weird but somehow, I like it) and also the music. Somehow, just somehow it's really nice.Even the dance steps in this song are kinda cool...hehe.Oh, watched the movie yesterday night btw. Will definitely post my thoughts on it asap.

Tuesday, May 6, 2008

Ok, it's May already and I have not really done anything about "something really really important that I should have started long long time back". Anyway, watched "Vellithirai" yesterday. It was one of the movies in my "must-watch-during-this-holidays" list. The main and probably the only reason the movie was on my list is because of the Raj-duos, PrakashRaj and PrithviRaj! My liking for them increased even more after Mozhi, an amazing movie which starred my ever-favourite actress Jyothika and also these two people.

Coming to "Vellithirai", although I did expect much from the movie, my expectations toned down a little after reading a few reviews. This movie is another product of Duet Movies, Prakashraj's production company which also produced Mozhi. Now, the story. Vellithirai (Silver Screen in English) is a story about cinema, Tamil Cinema. The story's theme is based on how things happen in real in Tamil Cinema, or so they claim ( The narrator says so) and is dedicated to people who strive to make good cinema, good movies.

The story is definitely something new, something different than what one could normally see in Tamil movies. But, being different doesn't mean that it will turn out good always. Not that this movie was not good, I would say that it was a good effort but just wasn't enough. The movie tells the story of Prakashraj who has been on the look for a 'hero' role for the past 16 years and his room-mate Prithviraj is an assistant director, striving to make his own movie for the past 10 years. One day, frustration creeps in and Prakashraj steals Prithvi's "story" (one that he wrote to direct by himself) and uses that to buy himself the 'hero' role. Soon, Prakashraj becomes the "Thalapathy" of Tamil Cinema. He has various fan clubs around the world and becomes super-popular.

Prakashraj's dirty act does come to light, but no one can do anything since Prakashraj smartly registered the story uner his name. Meanwhile, Prithviraj marries Gopika, a popular heroine introduce by him. Unable to find a break for himself, Prithviraj becomes dejected and sorts to drving cabs to make a living. Once, when he goes to meet a producer, the producer casually comments that Prithviraj should cash on on his popularity as the 'husband of an actress' to become a hero and forget his ambition of becoming a director. This frustrates him further and results in Gopika moving out of the house hoping that things will be better for Prithviraj thereafter. I honestly don't find the logic behind this, but movies are not always logic anyways!

Now, Prithviraj is given a golden chance by a producer who knows everything ( about Prakashraj stealing the story and bla bla) and says that Prithviraj should 'use' Prakashraj himself (his popularity and star-status) to become a successful director. Then, the rest of the story is how Prithviraj wins Prakashraj.

On the performance, no one really caught my attention, I mean no one performed well, for me to call them amazing or superb. Really. Prakashraj's role was different with a villainy touch but he wasn't up to mark. I am not a pro to say this but Prakashraj was not his usual self there. He's definitely one of the best actors in Tamil I have seen I must say, but not in this movie. Somehow I felt that none of the main characters of the movie were shown in-depth. The characters say that they are struggling or that their are sad or angry but somehow you can't relate to them. They somehow don't show it clearly.

Btw, there's also another confusion on who exactly the hero of the movie is. Not that we do need a hero but based on the screen space given, Prakashraj looks like the hero of the movie. Moreover, with two song featuring him. Now, on Gopika. She's supposed to be the popular actress. But, she doesn't have the screen presence to potray the role.Rather, she looks like this poor little girl who has been forced to wear all those "movie outfits".Oh, one must also watch-out for 'Jeyam' Ravi, Trisha and Sandhya who make guest appearances as themselves. Songs were nice, particularly "Uyirile" and "Kanji Paanaiyin". These two songs were picturised well too.

Overall, Vellithirai was not strong or impactful enough to be called a must-watch movie. It can be watched if you really don't have anything to do but not a must lar.I was kinda dissapointed but let's just hope that Prakashraj's and Prithviraj's next endeavors are good!!!

Chao!

Wednesday, April 30, 2008

It's 30th April already. I still feel like I just started my Foundation course. But, now I am done with it. Time really goes by pretty fast.
Anyway, watched Vazhthukal yesterday night.Man, the movie was slow and boring!!! Yuvan's music was not up to his standards. The movie, somehow I felt was not like a movie. It was fake. I mean, all the characters were 'acting', and we are not supposed to feel like they are acting, rite? The movie starts off by showing why Madhavan wants a good, understanding and caring wife. He stumbles upon Bhavana, who talks about the importance of family and bla bla bla on a TV show. And, as you can guess...Madhavan goes on a journey to woo Bhavana. The problem is that Bhavana's grandpa doesn't like love and doesn't allow it in his big, joint-family. So, the rest is about how Madhavan wins the family and marries her.
I wonder why Madhavan agreed to this movie at all. The whole movie looked unattached. And all those so-called romantic scenes between Madhavan and Bhavana were jaded and weird. Overall, I regretted watching the movie. If there's anyone planning to watch it...please think about it!!! By the way, according to a lot of them, no English words were used in the movie. I am not 100% sure, but I think I heard the word "balloon".
Anyway, that's all for now. Chao!

Finally.... my exams are over!!! One month of more time to watch all those movies on my list (a very long one!!!) and yes, to blog actively!
Dun wanna talk about the exams...they were just alright. Anyway, had a great time yesterday!!!
Thanks to everyone....the whole TD16....My class had organized a farewell/bbq party at one of our classmates place and it was totally awesome..minus some "adaapaaaavi" moments!!! (Fuyoh n Ni2 would understand)
Anyway, will post the photos and a more detailed explanation soon on the party...
Now, I was just listening to the songs from the soon-to-be released Vijay-Trisha movie, Kuruvi.
Not much of an exciting album, I would say. The songs are pretty much average, and my pick of the lot would be "Pallanadhu", which is fast and peppy! Kinda dissapointed, cuz I loved the songs in Ghilli....
Another thing...I watched the "Dasavatharam" trailer....was very very interesting...captivating to say the least...M not a big Kamal fan...but I do admit that he's probably one of the most talented actors Tamil Cinema has right now!!! This movie supposedly has him in 10 different roles...the trailer did not reveal much on what the movie's gonna be like, I mean the story...but, was successful to evoke my curiosity...because, you can see a lot of ancient kinda events going on... temples...elephants...and then high-tech action scenes too...So, kinda interesting...Hoping that the movie would be really good.
And, for those who are in the mood of watching some really sweet, funny and sentimental movie.... Go and watch "Santhosh Subramaniam"!!! The movie was simply awesome! Loved it...loved the songs...Ravi and Harini were good and in short, it's a not-to-miss movie!!!

Gtg now...chao!

Roja

Roja : A type of flower (Rose), Maniratnam's movie!!!

Yup, finally...I got to watch the movie!!!! I LOVE ASTRO!!!!!!! Astro just makes my day, just about everyday!!!!!! Thanks to 'Vellithirai', Ch 202 I got the chance to watch the movie!!!!
Roja is a '92 film by Maniratnam. I was always curious and pretty much interested in it. One main reason was the soul-captivating music by AR Rahman. Besides that, the theme of the movie. It's about the long standing 'fight' over Kashmir by India and Pakistan. The movie doesn't focus too much on this, but rather showcases the effects of it, Terrorism to be more precise. But, within this serious theme, the director weaved in a beautiful love story. It's not the usual, boy meets girl...falls in love kinda story...it's something more cute, I would say.
Anyway, I totally enjoyed the movie..right from the beginning till the end...it was just beautiful!
To start off with, Arvind Swamy (hero) was just superb. He looked good and was totally into the character of a husband who loves and misses the wife and at the same time, the ever patriotic Indian! Certain scenes, especially the dialogues between the militant and Arvind were amazing.
Next up, Madhubala... one talented actress who I have not watched much...Anyway, she was really good in this movie.Be it the affection towards the husband or even the confident she shows whenever a situation comes up hinting that the husband might have died....she was just superb! Loved the innocence, confidence and the bravery that she potrayed!
Music... need I say anything at all...Loved each and every song in the movie, esp. Kadhal Rojavae and Pudhu Vellai Mazhai!!! Kinda got irritated with the "Rukkumani" song though, I still don't get the relevance of the song and the choreography was just BAD!!!
Overall, the movie was simply wonderful...For those who have not watched it yet, please do ASAP!!!!! Ya, I know.... I would probably be the only one who missed this movie...anyway, seriously, watch it!!!
Now, I am just wondering if the shop I go to, to rent movies would have 'Bombay' with them...Have not watched it also.....Gotta watch it after my exams....
Gtg now btw, chao!

Roop Ki Chandni ( Moonlight of Beauty)

My previous post expressed my thought of relieve on how I have finally got back to blogging...But,I did not post anything after that....Frankly I was not in the position to post anything because of my classes.Had some extra classes since the finals are gearing up.

Now, back to blogging...hehe..
"Roop Ki Chandni" is a small phrase from "Main Agar Kahoon", a beautiful song from "Om Shanti Om". Thanks to one of my friend, I got 'crazy' about this song...and I really mean it.Even now, as I am typing , this song is being played...Really, it's really amazing.

Not only the audio, but the way they have picturised the song is also wonderful. As usual, it is as colourful as any Hindi songs but, the feel in it is just beautiful, to say the least! I am practically waiting for my holidays to watch this movie... :)

Anyway, watch the song below and Enjoy!!!

I m back...Finally!!!!

Yes...I m back!!!
Phew!!! The past 2 weeks was seriously tiring...
Hv not replaced the sleeping hours that I missed those weeks....Gotta do that first!
Anyway, I hv successfully finished those 2 assignments that was due last friday...and the exams were well alright!

Now, its not over yet...the finals will be up soon...Anyway, I m pretty satisfied with what I did for the assignments...could hv done better, but it was ok.

till then,cheers,
Sree :)

Saturday, March 22, 2008

Alright....this is gonna be another crappy post like the previous one...I am not done with the assignments yet...but I hv finished 1....hehe....So, I am done with Donald Trump...finally!!!!
Yup...he is the subject of one of my assignments...Finished printing and binding today...
Anyway, I hv been online for the past few days for such a long time everyday but, didn't get to post anything..simply because of my other assignment...webpage designing.... I actually like doing it...So, I dun mind doing it...Oh,btw...something 'dramatic' or so I think...happened this week...and I feel bad for doing it...can't really mention it here....cuz,it involves a few other people...Anyway, I guess it was long time coming...So, had to take some decisions and implement it as well...

That's all for now...gotta go hv my maggie for dinner!!! ....did I spell it rite? :D

Tuesday, March 18, 2008

It has been quite a while since I posted. And this is all due to the fact that my assignments are piled up and I have been working on around 3 assignments for the past few days, to be passed up next week.Honestly, I find this extremely ridiculous and pathetic!!! I am so sorry to those who are facing worst than this but really....when will the world realise that asking pupils to do too much is just TOO MUCH!!!! Actually, its not that bad....but,here's the real deal...3 assignments + 2 tests in the span of 2 weeks!!!!!!!
I get the fact that, the schedule has been compressed to finish up the semester and the whole programme faster but not this way.I am just TIRED....wishing for the next week to be over as soon as possible....of course, without any problems!!!

Anyway, the cabinet has been announced and it looks like we have many new faces.Hopefully, it is all for a better future.Wishing all of them the best of luck. :)

Off to continue doing assignment!!!!!! Arghh......

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which
you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do.

Eleanor Roosevelt

I might not be old enough or matured enough to actually speak about politics but I guess this quote truly expresses what happened on 8th of March 2008, the 12th General Elections of M'sia. The people of Malaysia, especially the ones who were thought to be 'loyal' and those who were not treated as well as they should have churned out their courage in the form of votes. As they say, the minorities who everyone thought would not make any difference made it clear that size does not matter. Thus, "Tsunami Politik" (Political Tsunami in Malay Language) as they call it happened. Now, the people of Malaysia I believe would definitely feel more accepted, respected and heard.I feel that this is definitely something, some sort of a historical event that has paved new ways to a brighter Malaysia.

*I am in no way supporting/criticizing anyone. This is just my view of what has happened, the 12th GE of M'sia.*

An Extra Brain or Heart???

Okay, it has been a while since I posted...was a little busy with classes and assignments.
Anyway, I had one my tutorial classes today and it was quite interesting. It was for 'English for Communication'.Yes, that's a subject that we are supposed to learn.I have no idea exactly why...but just gotta do it you see.
So, we had some discussions and one of the topic was, "If it was possible for you to have an extra brain or an extra heart, which would you prefer?".Sounds interesting and weird at the same time...We were required to voice out our opinion and of course I was called out too.

Here was my take on it:

"Even if it was possible for me to have an extra brain or an extra heart,I would like to choose to stay the way I am now, with one brain and one heart. In my opinion, having an extra heart would not make any difference as I firmly believe that heart is not something measurable.Having a heart ,to me is all about loving, caring, empathizing and being able to feel human emotions.I believe that one heart is enough as one heart is equivalent to a million as long as the person is willing to believe so and begins to love himself/herself and everything/anything around him/her.
On an extra brain,I feel that the enormous capability of our brain has not been fully discovered yet.Even the father of science,Albert Einstein did not use 100% of his brain's capacity to come with all those theories. So it is evident that one brain is more than enough.Hence, staying the way I am right now, as God's genuine creation,I don't think I would want to change anything."

Frankly, that is exactly what I feel. Some of my classmates had different opinions on it and it was pretty interesting to know how people would react to such a tempting question...So,watcha think about it???

Signing off,
Sree :)

16 1/2 hours more...

Okay, holidays will officially be over in another 16 1/2 hours.Thats really sad....mainly because:
1.I won't be able to laze around at home
2.Can't watch Mcleod's Daughters!!! (although I hv been watching it for the 3rd time...Hallmark is repeating the 7th season AGAIN)
3.Hate waking up so early in the morning! Really really EARLY :(

Going back to college is not that bad though in the sense that I will be meeting my college mates back....Kinda MISS them actually...But, I just dislike the fact that I have got to start attending lectures and tutorials. And this sem, the tutorials will be held for 2 HOURS!!!
I don't understand how that is possible.I hv dreaded tutorials since....I dunno...since I started attending them...UNLESS....I hv done what I am supposed to do before I attend...which is like NEVER!!!

There's one thing really GOOD in the next sem...the NUMBER of subjects....just THREE....3...TIGA....MOONDRU (in Tamil)....I dunno the word in Chinese....wait a sec...is it SAN??? Anyway...the subjects are quite interesting too...Webpage Design,Management Studies and English for Comm.Should be alright...but,of course these U people (the management/lecturers) have always done their best to make simple things as COMPLICATED as possible....
And...yet another weekend has gone by..almost.....and the following quote fits me just well...SERIOUSLY...simply because I have been following it....without realising how true (or maybe not) it is!

Movies I wanna watch...

I am a big movie fan, especially tamil movies.Love watching good, entertaining movies.I have to admit though that I don't visit the theatres regularly unless a movie is worth watching in the theatre comes up. I usually go for vcd/dvds (rental) which are more convenient and cheap!
Since I have been on holidays....I have been watching a few movies that I missed and I must say that I was pretty satisfied.
I watched :
1.Kalloori
2.Pollathavan
3.Pirivom Santhipom
All of them were good esp. Pollathavan and Kallori (except for its ending).
Now, I have my eyes on 2 movies, one which was released last year and another which just came out.

1.Taare Zameen Par : This movie was released in 2007 and was both critically and commercially acclaimed. This movie is Aamir Khan's first as a director and he produced it too.The movie deals with the story of a child with learning difficulties. In general, the movie's theme seems to focus on the fact that every child is special and according to the many reviews that I checked out, the overall verdict is that its a must watch.

I have always loved movies with off-beat themes and subjects and I am hoping to get this one's DVD soon.

2.Anjathey : This one got released a few days ago and has been receiving rave reviews from all quarters. Not sure if it has been released here or not but the whole team associated with the movie is quite promising. This movie is "Chithiram Pesuthadi" fame Mysskin's second film.Has Narain as the lead actor once again with "Chennai 600028" fame Vijayalakshmi as the heroine. So far, I managed to catch a glimpse of 3 songs featured in the movie thanks to Sun Music!!! All of them are mediocre although there's one number which is frequently showed.By the way, it's a cop story with a gripping screenplay it seems (according to most of the reviews) and there's a weak point connected to the movie.Guess what? The movie is more than 3 hours long.I have no idea how I can stand that btw.Anyway, I am eager to watch this one too due to the humble cast and crew involved.I have begun getting irritated by watching the likes of Vj and Co in the same old formulaic stories!!!

*No offence to any of Vj's fans please!

Thats all for now.Right now trying to get hold of the TZP DVD which I can't seem to find anywhere....

Signing off....Sree :)

An Intro

So, here I am posting an intro on myself and my blog for probably the 3rd or is it the 4th time? I have tried owning my own blog but failed miserably due to my laziness. My previous blogs have had a maximum of 6 entries in the past and its definitely not a great number to boast around. I have lost touch with the world for quite a long time now....have been interacting with my friend Jam only and a few of my college buddies.I am quite net savvy in the sense that I do go online and love to surf the net for a lot of stuff but am not so into blogging.

Since blogging is interesting and I believe in having the freedom to speak/express one's thoughts/opinions....here you are at my blog, "Sree's Sentiments". As you can see, my name is Sree and I am currently doing a foundation programme in a private Uni and would be pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science soon.Yes,Actuarial Science! Lotta people seem to not know what Acuarial Science is exactly.....especially when one of my relative who wondered why on earth I would wanna do a course related to marine/sea creatures??!!! For all those people who still have no idea what Actuarial Science is exactly...my version of definition : Economics + Calculus + Statistics + Finance + lots of examinations = Actuarial Science. For a more detailed info check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actuarial_science.

Currently at a private university and believe me, there's nothing much to say about the Uni....I am there due to some twists of fate and I have to say, I am totally responsible for that! Okay, on my Uni....may be I do have a few positive say...one of the few (note "few") good things that I have gotten since registering into the university is that I have got a bunch of friends who,to say the least are fun and awesome to be with.2ndly, the lecturers (atleast most of them) are really cool and pretty helpful I must say.

Right now I am enjoying my sem holidays...which is gonna end in another 2 days. Can't believe how fast time can pass....I have been sitting around watching tele (+ eating + sleeping for more than 8 hours...trust me you dun wanna know the exact number) in my house for the past 3 and 3/4 weeks!!! Right now I am glad to know that I am gonna start my 3rd sem..which is the last one and I would be doing 3 subjets only...YAY!!!

Okay, now about the blog...I think I will be posting interesting things (atleast in my opinion) and my thoughts about current events may be...movies (love watching movies)....tv programmes...and of course my daily life...If not daily atleast things worth mentioning that happens in my life will be updated regularly. Thats all for now....I guess... :)
